RubyWell helps families and healthcare providers work together to safely manage health at home
Millions of older adults are spending time and money on hospitalizations, emergency room visits and skilled nursing facility stays that could have been prevented. By helping eligible patients access home health services, RubyWell helps older adults live at home with better health outcomes, eases the strain on family caregivers, and lowers healthcare costs for Medicare.
Here's our plan
RubyWell is tackling the care crisis by helping more eligible Medicare beneficiaries access covered home health services. These services have shown to reduce hospital admissions, ER visits, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) usage. The result: lower healthcare costs for families and Medicare.

RubyWell’s technology can predict eligibility for the Medicare home health benefit, and guide families through the process of accessing professional medical care at home.
We’re currently piloting a program in Maricopa County, AZ that helps family caregivers of eligible home health patients get trained and certified as home health aides. So they may be hired by a partner home health agency as a paid member of their loved one’s home health team.

Family caregivers represent 1 in 4 Americans, and 40% of them have to leave their jobs to provide care.
Home health agencies continue to face Medicare reimbursement cuts and struggle to staff shifts due to a national caregiver shortage.
Accountable Care Organizations and MA plans need to find ways to improve patient outcomes and reduce spiraling healthcare costs.
Medicare spending has nearly doubled since 2015, and is expected to double again by 2035.
