MODULE 2 OF 5

Caring with Confidence

Now lets get started on the core of the RubyWell Family Caregiver training. For this section of training we’ve partnered with the Pennsylvania Homecare Association to provide you the same professional training resources that home health aides and care workers across the country use to build their skills.

So you’ll probably notice that the language is geared to the professional care worker caring for a “consumer” (the person needing care), as opposed to family caregiver caring for a relative or friend. But the techniques you’ll be learning are the same for anyone providing care to anyone else.

PHA Session Overview

We chose this training intentionally. Not because you don't already know how to care for your loved one—we know you do. But because having the same foundational knowledge that professionals rely on makes you a more confident, more prepared caregiver. And that matters.

The training is organized into 4 sessions. Each one is about an hour or less. You can complete them all at once or spread them out. We know your life is busy. Go at your own pace.
