A vital resource for aging adults and their family caregivers

Medicare covers home health services for many homebound adults, even if their condition isn’t expected to improve1. RubyWell identifies older adults who are likely to qualify for this benefit. Then we help them access the covered care. So family caregivers can share their care responsibilities with a certified professional, at no cost.

More care. Less stress.

Home health care doesn’t just support the person receiving care—it supports their family caregivers, with knowledgeable professionals, education, and a break from caregiving responsibilities on a weekly or daily basis.

Here’s what families often experience when their aging loved one receives home health care:
Family Caregiver
Care Recipient
  • Relief from constant caregiving and decision-making
  • Fewer unplanned hospital trips or ER visits
  • Peace of mind that you're not doing this alone
  • Fewer out-of-pocket healthcare costs
  • Improved health outcomes
  • Ability to live at home home longer

RubyWell is building a pilot program that will help families afford to care

Here’s how it will work:

Eligibility

Our technology will predict if the person receiving care qualifies for the Medicare home health benefit. Great news—there are no income or asset limits.

1

Payment

We'll help the family caregiver get the training and certification they need to become a certified, paid home health aide.

2

Support

We'll connect the family with a partner home health agency that may hire the family caregiver to provide medically necessary home health services.

About RubyWell

RubyWell is a technology company that helps patients, caregivers, and care teams work together to safely manage health at home.

Our model helps patients receive quality care, reduces hospital readmissions, and lowers the total cost of care by allowing patients to age safely at home. Our pilot program will address the Care Crisis by infusing much-needed labor into the healthcare workforce, enabling home health agencies to serve more of our country’s growing population of older adults.
